Can PLA clamshells hold hot food?
Standard PLA has a heat deflection temperature of around 110–140°F (45–60°C), making it best suited for cold foods, fresh produce, salads, and chilled deli items. For hot food applications, ask us about our heat-tolerant PLA blend options.
